County Schools Closed Wednesday, Government Buildings Open

Officials will assess damage to buildings following earthquake.

Prince George’s County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday as officials inspect buildings for damage following Tuesday's earthquake.

Twelve-month employees should report to work as usual. 

Thirty-seven public schools were damaged in the quake, according to the county's Emergency Operations Center, but no serious injuries were reported in the county.
