Payroll specialist: Verifies, audits, edits, and prepares bi-weekly payroll records; reviews employee timesheets; identifies and works with appropriate departments to resolve discrepancies; enters data in payroll system; generates, reviews and reconciles  payroll reports to ensure accuracy; transmits direct deposit information; prints checks, direct deposit advices and W-2’s.  Responsible for bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting.

Call center supervisor: As a call center supervisor, the primary responsibilities include overall day to day supervision planning, coordinating and appraising the activities of subordinate call takers in order to accomplish organizational goals and objectives as part of the City of Bowie's call taker program. Work is performed under general supervision of the operations support commander and evaluated through reports and observations.

Code compliance officer II: Responsible for assisting code compliance/animal control supervisor with all activities related to the housing inspection, code compliance and building permits programs in the city. This includes hiring, supervising and evaluating staff; budgeting, long range planning, complex problem solving, code policy development and report writing. Provides field supervision and support to subordinate officers. Represents the city with professional organizations, government agencies and in the community. Some participation with the Animal Control temporary holding facility may be required.

Solid waste driver/collector: Responsible for driving refuse and recycling trucks as needed. Also responsible for collection of refuse and recyclables, as needed.
