$100 Discount on Adoptable Animals at County Shelter in June

Big discounts are being offered at Prince George's County's animal facility this month to help dogs and cats find their forever homes.

From a news release:

The county's Animal Management Division recently kicked off its adoption event at the Animal Services Facility located at 3750 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro.

This special event -- with big discounts on the cost to adopt an animal -- runs through the month of June, which is also Pet Adoption month.

“We’re very excited to be a part of a national pet adoption event that educates the public about the importance of rescue and adoption and helps find loving homes for the many pets living at our Animal Services Facility,” said Director Adam Ortiz. “In addition to cats and dogs, Pet Adoptathon 2014 supports all animals in our care including rabbits, goats, an iguana and a dove. We invite the public to attend this life-saving event.”
