WJLA: State Trooper, Bowie Woman Injured in Prince George's Crash
WJLA reported a Maryland State Police trooper and a Bowie woman were injured in a traffic accident Saturday morning in Prince George's County on Rt. 301.
Sheila W. Hopkins, 64, of Bowie, was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the Prince George's Hospital Center according to a WJLA report. She was later transferred to a hospital in Baltimore. Her injuries are serious, but not life threatening, police say.
WJLA reported Trooper First Class Darwin R. Bennett, 24, was taken by ambulance to Bowie Medical Center where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
