UPDATE: Police Locate Vehicle Connected to String of Armed Robberies

Police have located the gold Dodge Avenger they say is associated with last weekend's robberies.

Prince George’s County Police investigating a string of armed commercial robberies that took place this weekend, say they located the vehicle associated with the crimes.

Suspects in the May 12 robbery of the McDonalds at 20 Ritchie Road in Capitol Heights were seen in a gold 2010 Dodge Avenger with Maryland registration tags 2AR2302. Police had no further information on where and when the vehicle was found.

Police gave the following descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect 1

  • black male
  • mid 20s
  • 6’1” to 6’2”
  • 160 lbs.
  • blue jeans, blue hoodie, black and white scarf, black handgun

  • early 20s
  • 6’1” to 6’2”
  • slim build
  • blue jeans, black jacket, black ski mask.

The suspects are still at large, according to police spokesman Cpl. Mike Rodriguez.
