Two New Officers Join Bowie's Finest
Officers Kwok Kam and Melvin Proctor were sworn in as members of the Bowie Police Department at Monday's city council meeting.
Two experienced officers have recently joined the Bowie Police Department, bringing years of experience with larger police forces to their new positions.
Recently retired Prince George's County police officer and Bowie resident, Ofc. Melvin Proctor, joins the Bowie Police Department after spending 20 years with PGPD.
Ofc. Kwok Kam of Baltimore comes to Bowie from the Baltimore City Police Department, where he spent four years.
