Two Bowie Teens Arrested with Marijuana, Pills

They were allegedly waiting in the parking lot of Meadowbrook Park to conduct a deal with an estimated $6,834 worth of illegal drugs, according to police.

Two Bowie teens face several drug charges after being arrested by Bowie Police while sitting in after hours, according to a police report.

On Aug. 30 just after midnight, officers were checking out the parking lot of the park after they noticed two people sitting in a parked car.

Upon investigation, the police found out that two teens, 18-year-old Julian Massiah and 19-year-old Kelly Anderson, were allegedly waiting in the parking lot to conduct a drug deal, according to the police report.

Police recovered 320.4 grams of marijuana, 74 Oxycodone pills and a digital scale—an estimated $6,834 worth of illegal drugs, according to the report.

Both teens were charged with possession with intent to distribute of both marijuana and a controlled dangerous substance, removing prescription labels and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Maryland online court records with a trial set for later this month.
