According to police reports, on March 16 at about 4 p.m., the Bowie Police Department’s Direct Response Team made a stop for a traffic violation in the 3300 block of Mitchellville Road that resulted in the arrest of a minor.

Police recovered 13 grams of suspected marijuana and a grinder, a digital scale and nearly 100 shotgun shells in a mix of 12- and 20-gauge sizes, according to the report. It is unknown at this time why she was in possession of the shotgun shells, according to Bowie Police Chief John Nesky.
