Teens Wanted in Crofton Credit Card Fraud

Police say four teens used a lost credit card at a movie theater then took photos in a photo booth.

Police say a group of teenagers wanted in a credit card fraud case left behind some unique evidence at a nearby Crofton movie theater.

On June 6, an officer responded to the Regal theater in the 1400 block of South Main Chapel Way for a report of credit card fraud. A woman there told the officer she had recently misplaced the card while shopping in the area, according to a post on the Anne Arundel County police Facebook page.

Card records showed a transaction at the theater the previous day, and surveillance video showed a group of teens buying movie tickets from a kiosk. The group of four also apparently took photos at a photo booth, and police distributed the photos, asking for help identifying possible suspects.
