A discussion about a Laurel man’s attendance at work resulted in his supervisor being stabbed with a knife and the employee’s arrest, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department's blog.

Patrol officers were called to an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Muirkirk Road in Laurel at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday on a report of a cutting. Officers found the victim suffering from several stab wounds and cuts; the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim had approached Robert Pandohie Jr. to talk about his attendance at work. Police said the victim supervises Pandohie on the maintenance staff at the apartment complex, where he lives.

Police charge that Pandohie stabbed his supervisor several times before the victim was able to wrestle away the knife.

Pandohie is charged with first- and second-degree assault.
