SUV Crashes into T&T Liquor Store in Bowie
Fire officials said no one was injured, although there was damage to the inside of the store.
A Nissan SUV crashed into the front of T&T liquor store in the 13800 block of Old Annapolis Road Wednesday afternoon, according to Prince George's County Fire Department Spokesperson Mark Brady.
There was damage to both the interior or the exterior of the store, and some damage to product, but no injuries were reported, Brady said.
The driver of the vehicle told medics on the scene that he thought the car was in reverse, but when he hit the gas pedal he drove forward into the building.
Police issued the driver a citation for failure to control speed, according to Bowie Police Chief John Nesky.
