Sentencing in Stacy Seaton Trial Delayed Until August

McDonald Abraham III will now face sentencing on August 26 for the 2005 murder.

McDonald Abraham III, the Bowie man on trial for the 2005 murder of 17-year-old Stacey Seaton, was supposed to face sentencing on Friday but the case is now being pushed back to August 26, according to court records.

This is the second time sentencing has been moved back. Originally Abraham was to be sentenced on March 31, but it was pushed back to April 22 because "the request for Abraham's court appearance had been faxed to the wrong prison," according to reports from The Gazette.

Abraham faces three charges: first degree murder, conspiracy to first degree murder and use of a handgun in a crime of violence. He pleaded guilty to Seaton's murder in January.
