Prince George's Sisters Charged in Black Friday Annapolis Mall Brawl

Police said two sisters have been charged with first-degree assault in the Annapolis Mall brawl that broke out on Black Friday.

Ebonie Tashawn Brooks, 31, and Antonia Janee Ash, 18, of Clinton were taken into custody Thursday, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

For two months, police said officers combed over store records, surveillance footage and the viral YouTube video of the assault on a 17-year-old girl in Victoria's Secret.

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on Nov. 29 (Black Friday), one woman pushed the victim to the ground and jumped on top of her, while the other jumped on her, then kicked her in the head, police said.

Detectives determined where the suspects had been before Victoria's Secret, and store records obtained by subpoena enabled them to identify the suspects, police said.

Anne Arundel and Prince George’s police served a warrant at the women's home in the 8400 block of Poplar Hill Drive in Clinton on Thursday.

Brooks and Ash, who were inside at the time, were charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and affray, police said.
