Police Charge Man in Robbery of Seat Pleasant Bank

Phillip Ivan Ramone Randall, 47, was arrested for robbing a Seat Pleasant bank.

Prince George’s County Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a Bank of America in Seat Pleasant on Thursday.

Phillip Ivan Ramone Randall, 47, was arrested Thursday evening after police officers stopped a a blue Nissan Sentra matching the description of the one used in the bank robbery.  Randall, who was driving the car, was arrested without incident.

Polics say that during questioning, Randall admitted his involvement in the robbery. Detectives linked money recovered from Randall to the bank robbery.

Authorities said Randall entered the bank in the 5800 block of Martin Luther King Junior Highway about 9:05 a.m. Thursday. He reportedly approached a teller and passed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
