Police Charge 4 Bowie Teens with Burglary

Bowie police responded to a burglary in process and were able detain the teens near the scene of the crime.

Police charged four teenage boys with burglary on Jan. 30.

Officers were dispatched to the 16200 block of Alderwood Lane at around 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 30 in response to a report of a burglary in process.

Officers search the area and stopped four teenage boys that matched the description given of the suspects involved in the burglary. The boys were positively identified as the suspects, detained by police and transported to the police department for processing.

All four suspects are being charged with burglary and destruction of property.  A glass window was broken to gain entry into the victim’s home, but no other damages were reported.
