Police Charge 2 in Peachtree Lane Drug Bust

Police recovered drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana while executing a search warrant in Bowie Wednesday.

Two men were arrested Wednesday and are facing multiple drug charges after police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a home on Peachtree Lane while executing a search warrant.

Bowie police, with the assistance of the Prince George’s County Police Emergency Services Team, performed a search of a home in the 1800 block of Peachtree Lane. Officers recovered six grams of suspected marijuana, drug packaging paraphernalia and electronic equipment, according to a police report.

Two men were arrested and are facing charges as a result of the search warrant. Bowie resident Rodney Adams, 22, and Greenbelt resident Deonte Washington, 24, are both facing several charges, including marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession, police said.

According to the police report, the front door of the home as well as the basement ceiling and wall sustained damage during the incident.
