Police Ask for Public's Help in Identifying SunTrust Bank Robbery Suspect

Tipsters that have information that lead to an arrest and indictment will receive a $1,000 reward.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who robbed a SunTrust Bank in Bowie Wednesday.

The robbery took place at approximately 2:10 p.m. inside the Safeway grocery store on the 12400 block of Fairwood Parkway, police reported. The suspect reportedly approached the SunTrust bank teller and gave her a note demanding cash, according to police. The bank teller complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The pictures released of the alleged suspect show a bearded black man wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a dark blue sweater, according to the PGPD News Blog.
