Pointer Ridge Liquors Robbed at Gunpoint

Two men in ski masks robbed the store at around noon on Sept. 4.

Two men with dreadlocks dressed in dark clothing and ski masks robbed Pointer Ridge Liquors at gunpoint on Wednesday, according to a report issued by the Bowie Police Department. 

The report states that two men of unknown age entered the liquor store shortly after noon brandishing a black handgun of unknown caliber. The men proceeded to jump over the sales counter where they stole cash and various other items, before exiting the store and fleeing the area in vehicle headed southbound on Crain Highway.

Bowie police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.  Prince George's County police detectives responded to the scene and are in charge of the investigation. 

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
