Missing Bowie Man Located After Two Days

Oscar Harry Washington was located on July 17 in fair condition, approximately 100 yards from the house where he was reported missing.

Bowie resident Oscar Harry Washington, 75, was located by the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) on Tuesday after being reported missing two days earlier by his daughter, according to the PGPD blog.

Washington, who was reported to suffer from high blood pressure and memory loss, went missing from his daughter’s home on Woodmore Road on Sunday morning. After a two-day search, Police located Washington in fair condition in the woodline approximately 100 yards away from his daughter’s home, according to police. He was transported to a local hospital for observation.

The Search and Rescue Dogs of Maryland, Mid-Atlantic D.O.G.S., and a PGPD academy class all assisted in the search.
