Man Dressed As Woman Robs Bowie Bank: Police

Prince George's County Police say an African-American man dressed up as a woman when he robbed a Bowie bank Friday.

The Prince George’s County Police Department says an African-American man dressed up as a woman as a disguise when he robbed a bank Friday in Bowie.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect and a reward is being offered in the case.

The suspect walked into a bank in the 4300 block of Collington Road just after noon on Friday. He approached a teller and demanded cash after implying he had a weapon, police said, and the teller complied.

Police are not releasing the amount of money the suspect left the bank with in the theft.
