Man Charged With Feb. Armed Robbery in Bowie

Orlando Irving has been arrested and faces armed robbery and other charges after being at large for nearly six months.

A man was arrested and charged in Temple Hills this week on a first degree assault warrant issued by the Bowie Police Department on March 6, 2012.

Orlando Irving was taken into custody by the Prince George’s County Sheriff's Office this week and is being charged with armed robbery, first degree assault, firearm use during a felonious violent crime and robbery, according to a press release.

According to the arrest warrant,  at the intersection of Collington Rd. and Northview Rd. in Bowie on Feb. 15 of this year

Irving had been under surveillance by deputies in Temple Hills, and was arrested during a routine traffic stop in a joint operation with the United States Marshals. 

The press release states that Irving is currently being held without bond at the Prince George’s County Correctional Center.
