Police Charge Man They Say Robbed Bank Wearing Women's Clothes

Reginald Andre Taylor, 48, of Washington, DC, faces multiple charges related to an Aug. 7 robbery of the Capital One Bank in Bowie.

A Washington, DC, man has been charged in the Aug. 7 robbery of the Capital One Bank on Highbridge Road in Bowie, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).

According to the original police report, the suspect, identified as Reginald Andre Taylor, allegedly presented a bank teller at Capital One Bank with a note demanding money shortly after the bank opened, and then fled the scene on foot. The suspect was dressed in women’s clothing at the time of the robbery.

Bowie unable to locate the suspect at the time of the robbery but have since identified Taylor, 48, who is currently in a West Virginia jail awaiting extradition to Prince George's County to face charges of armed robbery and first-degree assault.
