The interstate was closed in both directions Wednesday after a man with a long gun, such as a shotgun or rifle.

Glen Burnie Patch is reporting an incident on I-295 in which Anne Arundel County and Maryland State Police are searching for a man who is thought to be armed, possibly with a shotgun or rifle.
