Four Vehicle Crash Ejects Driver, Closes Southbound 301

A four vehicle crash on Crain Highway and Leeland Road in Greater Upper Marlboro sent at least one victim to the hospital after they were ejected from their vehicle.

Update, 12:07 p.m. - Seven people were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, mostly minor. Maryland State Police is investigating the incident.

11:57 a.m. - Four cars were involved in a collision on southbound Crain Highway at Leeland Road this morning around 11:30 a.m. closing down all lanes in that direction and sending at least one to the hospital, according to Mark Brady, a spokesperson for the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department. 

The cause of the accident and how many people were injured and need emerency care is still unknown.
