Look for the hashtags #poltwt to follow various law enforcement agencies.
The PGPD will join police departments from around the world for the tweeting event, including agencies in Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Iceland, Australia and New Zealand.
From lunchtime to bedtime, the Media Relations Division will be busy tweeting while riding along with several of the department's specialty units and the COPS officers. Officers will also share details about the department’s 2014 Summer Crime Initiative.
