County Correctional SUV Overturned in Bowie Early Tuesday Morning
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, according to police.
A K-9 SUV unit from the Prince George's County Correctional Facility was involved in a two-vehicle accident around 6:20 a.m. near the intersection of Mitchellville and Excalibur roads on Tuesday, according to Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, of the Prince George's County Police Department.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, Rodriguez said, but nobody was seriously injured in the accident. The driver of the SUV was transported to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures, according to police. The K-9 unit was not injured in the incident or was the driver of the other vehicle.
