Charged With Killing Roommate, BSU Student Released On Bond
Alexis Simpson, 19, was released on bond last week pending the trial in which she is charged with first-degree murder.

“I think the judge recognized you’ve got a college student with no real record,” Simpson’s attorney, Christopher Griffiths, told the Times. “She certainly is not a threat to the community or to anyone.”

She will be confined to her mother's District Heights home while she awaits trial.
