Police: Bowie Woman Stabs Boyfriend With Fork

The assault occurred after an argument over dinner escalated.

A Bowie woman was charged with assault last week after stabbing her boyfriend in the shoulder with a fork, according to a police report.

On April 19 at around 7 p.m., Bowie police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 16000 block of Pewter Lane.

Police say they found the victim, a 47-year-old man, bleeding. The victim told police that he and his girlfriend, Shameka Williams, 32, had been arguing over dinner. The argument escalated and the victim said Williams stabbed him in the shoulder with a fork.

Williams was taken into custody and processed without incident. She is being charged with first and second degree assault.
