BOWIE, MD -- Anne Arundel County Police arrested four Bowie residents in connection to the use of a stolen credit card at a Gambrills movie theater.

Police charged the group with theft after determining they used the stolen credit card to buy movie tickets at the Regal Cinemas Theater at the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre on June 5.

Police were first alerted to the case when a woman reported misplacing her credit card.

The arrested group, which included three teenagers and a 20-year-old, were suspected of the crime after posing for pictures in a theater photo booth. Police said they also had surveillance video footage of the group purchasing movie tickets at a theater kiosk.

After police posted photos of the suspects, the community was able to quickly identify them.

Police arrested Heather Garnto, 20; Melissa Vogel, 19; James Murrill, 19; and a 17-year-old girl who was not identified because she is under 18. All of the suspects were charged with stealing a credit card, using a credit card without authorization, and related conspiracy charges.
