Bowie Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robberies

Orlando Diamonte Irving is considered armed and dangerous by police and wanted in connection with two armed robberies.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating Orlando Diamonte Irving, 17, who is wanted in connection with two recent armed robberies in Bowie.

Irving was reportedly last seen near . He is described by police as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 156 pounds. Police said he is considered armed and dangerous.

While investigating several armed robberies in the city, police identified Irving as a suspect and issued an arrest warrant Thursday. He faces charges of robbery and first-degree assault, according to police.

On Feb. 15, a 19-year-old Landover man was allegedly robbed at the bus stop located on Northview Drive and Collington Road, according to a police report. The suspect reportedly asked the man for a dollar and the man complied, only to have the suspect return and show a black revolver in his waistband. The police report states that the suspect demanded the man's wallet and when he refused, he pointed the revolver at the man’s head until he complied.

On the evening of Feb. 18, a victim was reportedly walking with friends to the 7-Eleven on Mount Oak Road when they were approached by a suspect who pointed a silver handgun and demanded his cell phone and money.
