Bowie Police Arrest 6 on Burglary Charges

Louis Anthony Johnson, 21, and five teens are facing burglary charges in connection with four home invasions in Bowie.

Five teens and one adult have been arrested and are facing charges connected with four residential burglaries in Bowie, authorities said.

Bowie police executed two search warrants on Jan. 17 for two separate residences—one for the 16000 block of Partell Court and one for the 1800 block of Plymouth Court.

Police obtained the warrants after investigating residential burglaries in Bowie that occurred over the course of several months.

While executing the warrants, police recovered property that was stolen from homes in the A and P sections of Bowie, according to the police report.

As a result of the search warrants, police arrested and charged 21-year-old Louis Anthony Johnson of Bowie and five youths in connections with four local burglaries. The suspects’ possible involvement in other burglaries is still under investigation, police said.
