Arrest Made in the Killing of Wynetta and Jaylin Wright

County police arrested Richmond Phillips in connection with the murders of Wynetta and Jaylin Wright.

County police have arrested Richmond Diallo Binns Phillips in connection with the murders of Wynetta Wright and Jaylin Wright this week. The two and were last seen in Temple Hills.

Wynetta Wright, 20, was found in Oxon Run Stream Valley Park and pronounced dead on the scene. Her infant daughter, Jaylin, was found abandoned in a car along the 2400 block of Southern Avenue. She was also pronounced dead. Phillips was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree murder and is being held on a no bond status.
