Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting at Automotive Business
An Upper Marlboro man has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a Seat Pleasant man at an automotive business.
Prince George's County police have charged an Upper Marlboro man with murder following a weekend shooting at the automotive business where he worked.
Officers were called to an automotive business in the 6500 block of Central Avenue about 7:05 p.m. Saturday for the report of a shooting. They found Donald Campbell, 55, of of Adak Street in Seat Pleasant suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He died on the scene, according to the department’s release.
After the shooting, police spoke to 43-year-old Archie Singleton of the 14000 block of Lord Marlboro Place in Upper Marlboro, who was an employee at the business. Police say he was carrying a handgun and acknowledged he was involved in the shooting.

Singleton and Campbell are acquaintances. The motive in this case is under investigation, police said.
Singleton has been charged with second-degree murder.
