Accident on Old Crain Highway Sends Police Officer, Second Man to Hospital
A multiple vehicle accident sent two men to trauma centers on Thursday afternoon.
A Bowie police officer and another man are both being taken to trauma centers after a multiple vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Old Crain Highway off of Science Drive in Bowie, according to Mark Brady, a spokesperson for the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The Bowie police officer sustained trauma that is considered non-life threatening and is being taken by helicopter to a nearby trauma center. Brady said the other man involved also sustained non-life threatening injuries and is being taken on ground to a trauma center.
