Accident Closes Part of Mitchellville Road Tuesday

Drivers will have to find an alternate route.

A traffic accident closed part of Mitchellville Road in Bowie Tuesday evening during rush hour, according to a text message issued by Alert Bowie.

As of 5:15 p.m. westbound Mitchellville is closed between Allen Pond Park and Almeda Drive.
