$25,000 Reward Offered for Tips in Triple Homicide

A $25,000 reward has been offered for information that helps Prince George's County Police solve the deaths of three people shot to death in a Capitol Heights apartment.

Prince George’s County police say the bodies of three adults who were shot to death have been found in a Capitol Heights apartment in the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike, reports CBS DC.

Police identified the victims as Ortiz Ola, 38, of the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike, Weldon Mason, 33, of the 10000 block of Washington Boulevard in Laurel and Staci Taneesha White, 33, of the 13000 block of Larchdale Road in Laurel.

A family member of one of the victims called 911 after discovering the bodies, the department’s Facebook page says. That family member had gone to the apartment to check on a loved one. When officers arrived, they discovered the bodies of the three victims, each suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminarily, there do not appear to be any prior calls for service at Ola’s apartment on Marlboro Pike.
