"I know too much about HIM!!!"

Need I say more, I know too much about Him! Are you asking yourself, "who is this HIM?"  Let me joyfully tell you that it is none other than Jesus!  He has so many names like, Abba Father, Holy One, Comforter, Daddy, and so many more.  Whatever you stand in need of let me prompt you to call upon Jesus because He is everything that you need.  Sure, you may not get everything when you think you need it, but, and let me say it again, BUT Jesus is always right on time.

So, why do we have to wait?  Why can't we have "it" when we think we want and/or deserve "it"? Have you ever found yourself thinking that your good works have earned you the right to have your prayers answered instantly?  Okay, so maybe it's not you, but somebody that you know - wink, wink.  Whatever the situation or circumstance may be let us confirm our faith in God like Abraham did in Genesis 22:13, "Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son."  Wow, Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son, his only son as a burnt offering to God.  Prior to the ram, Abraham told his men that "... we will come back to you" (Genesis 11:5).  I believe that Abraham knew too much about God to believe that God would allow him to sacrifice Isaac.  After all, God had promised to create a nation through Isaac (see Gen. 12:1-3).  Oh and how can we forget that Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born!  Even though they both initially laughed, (Abraham in Gen. 17:17, and Sarah in Gen. 18:12), they knew too much about God to really doubt Him.  God Himself said in Genesis 18:14a, "Is anything too hard for the Lord"?

There are many more references in the Bible about people exercising their faith.  Believe me when I tell you that waiting is harder than it seems.  But, remember that God is God and His timing is always right on time.  You too "know too much about Jesus" to give up on His promises.  Keep holding on and believing that "it" is already done.

Now that's a word!
