Every day of life is a day of Thanksgiving.  So often we get caught up in the celebration of an event and forget to thank and acknowledge God for His presence in our lives. Slow down, take a deep breath.  Allow your thoughts to stand still as you just give God thanks just for who He truly is. Having a relaxed state of mind allows you to hear God's voice and act upon His instructions.  Now, let's Go Forward!

Now that you are relaxed a little, let's talk about our emotions.  Aren't there times when you just want to scream or cry? Just the other day I was getting to the point of disappointment that I wanted to cry but the tears would not fall; I wanted to scream but the stillness of God kept me calm.  I was ready to give up but God said, "Not so, quitting is not an option."  Huh? I have come to realize that the closer I get to what God has purposed me to do, the more my emotions want to flare up.  Have you ever gotten so close to your destination that you could just "feel it in your bones"? But, you gave in to the attitude of, "well, I guess it was not meant to be".  That's when you have to Go Forward!

Do you remember the song lyrics, "Put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking through the door"?  That was a fun time in life (don't act like you didn't watch Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - smile).  Encouragement and a little prodding are needed to get you back on track.  Look at what God told Moses in Exodus 14: 15, "And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward."  In other words, "the people were to go forward - not go back and not give up."   I believe that God sees our hurt, struggles and even our disappointments in life.  But we have to trust and believe that He will work things out in His time. We must all continue to Go Forward because God would have it no other way.  Believe that you are right at the edge of God's breakthrough.  Go Forward!

Now that's a word!
