Around 12 million people are expected to visit a restaurant or bar on Sunday, according to the National Restaurant Association. Yet, the association estimates that four times as many people will just order takeout or delivery food from a restaurant.
When asked which food items are a "must have" on game day by the National Restaurant Association, here is how people responded:
- Salsa, dips and spreads (69 percent)
- Chicken wings (63 percent)
- Pizza (61 percent)
- Desserts (50 percent)
- Subs and sandwiches (49 percent)
- Healthful food items (42 percent)
