The homework from IQES Fort Washington Md

I'm really having an issue with the homework the teachers send home for my third grader.  It really appear that the homework is geared towards the parents more so the third grader.  Can anyone tell me exactly how the material is selected, who selects the material and is Superintedent Maxwell involved?
