The discussion on whether or not the should be developed has become heated. As additional information is made available, many residents have decided to take a stance on the project one way or another.

So we want to know what you think. Tell us if you do or don't support the project by taking our poll below.

What about a "maybe" or a "yes but depending on certain conditions" or some such grey-area answer. With something so complex, it's hard to just say yes or no.

I know, it's hard to say one way or another, but I'm looking to get the temperature of the community and it's hard with too many types of answers, which why I said "I would like more information"... because maybe unanswered questions is what's holding some readers back from stating their opinion one way or another.

As everything connected with this topic, there are many points of view. In my opinion we have to wonder what are we going to do with the myriad of houses and stores which have been built in the immediate vicinity, be it on Rte. 1, College Park or Hyattsville; East West Hway, accross from Home Depot, etc. which remain unrented, or not bought, do we need any more empty space, which will later present a danger to us as ideal to squatters, criminal or not to move in. If eventually we get people to move in, we have to make sure that appropriate measures are taken to have parking, school needs, etc. met before the buildings become available. An exit on Rte. 1 facing Van Buren is absolutely ludicrous. Let's just visit the enormous problems faced when a tinly 2 lane road as Queens Chapel Rd. was used as a short cut from three 4 to six lane roads: East West Highway, Adelphi Road and the extension of Queens Chapel Rd. Here we are not talking about abstraction, these are real and constant problems.
