The votes are in, and Rip's Country Inn in Bowie was voted by far the best place to take mom for brunch on her special day.
Rip's Manager Bill Burgess was pleased to hear the establishment won top honors in this week’s Readers’ Choice.
The restaurant will be open for brunch on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be serving a buffet-style brunch including breakfast favorites such as an omelet station, eggs benedict, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, and country potatoes. Lunch options will include chicken saute, seafood alfredo, carved beef and ham, salmon, salads, rice and more. For the full menu, check the Rip's website.
Brunch will cost $19.99 for adults, $7.99 for children ages five to seven, and children under five will be free.
From 1 to 10 p.m. they will offer a limited dinner menu, also available on the website.
Rip's will not be taking reservations for Mother’s Day brunch.
Grace’s Fortune Restaurant and T.J. Elliotts in Bowie, and Al’s Deli Supreme in Upper Marlboro also garnered a few votes each in this week’s contest.
