David E. Herrick, 88, of Bowie, passed away in his home on Oct. 12.
He was raised in born in Kansas and raised in Kansas and New Jersey. He served as an Army MP during World War II in the European and Pacific theaters.
Herrick graduated from veterinary school in 1951 and in 1965 he was accepted into the Federal Government’s Veterinary Administrative Program. He and his wife, Anne Seaton Milliken, were married for 55 years until she passed away in 2008.
Visitation and internment will be held in Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project or The World Wildlife Fund.
