Judith Wells, of Bowie, died Sept. 24. She was 68. Beloved wife of Daniel Wells; mother of Daniel Jr. (Chesney), Kevin (Krista), Christine Halligan (Stephen), Karen Graham (Gordon), Michael (Eileen), Fr. David, Colin (Kathleen), and John; sister of Barbara Holman and Janet Clayton; also survived by 23 grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Mary’s Center, 7567 Ritchie Hwy., Glen Burnie, MD 21061.

Harry John Christian, of Bowie, died Sept. 17 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease passed away. He was 95. He joined the U. S. N. in 1939 and served in the South Pacific throughout WWII as a Gunners Mate aboard 3 ships, one of which was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked in 1941. Contributions can be made to the Parkinsons Foundation.

Ella Frisch, of Bowie, died Sept. 16 following a 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 84. She was born in Fishing Creek, Maryland, and was the beloved wife of Robert Frisch. She worked as a sales associate with The Hecht Company from 1973 until her retirement in June of 1993. Ella was a devoted member of Saint Edwards Catholic Church in Bowie, also played on weekly bowling an volleyball leagues for many years. Donations may be made in her memory to Kimmel Cancer Research, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 234 Baltimore, MD 21201 to the attention of Dr. Rasheed's Research Team.
