Last Chance: Join the Youth Advisory Council

Patch lets you know about some weekly deadlines you won't want to miss.

Young citizens ages 14 to 22 who want to play a part in setting youth priorities and solving community problems should submit an application for the Maryland National Capital Area Park and Planning Commission M-NCPPC Youth Advisory Council. The purpose of the council is to ensure that Prince George’s County youth are able to provide feedback and make recommendations about “public policies and programs that affect their future, and to take a leadership role in creating meaningful change.”

Applications can be filled out online. Please contact Youth Services Office at 301-446-3400 with further questions. Applications are due by Tuesday, May 15, so act now!
