Candlelight Vigil To Honor Torrean Rich

Those who knew the woman who died in an accident with a tractor-trailer last week will gather to remember her Monday night at Largo High School.

The high school classmates of Torrean Rich, who on Thursday, will host a candlelight vigil in her honor.

The event is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. Monday night on the football field of , located at 505 Largo Rd. in Upper Marlboro, according to Eunique N. Jones-Gibson.

Rich, 28, of Largo was driving a black Honda Accord when she entered the intersection on Thursday from Governor's Bridge Road, according to a release from police. A flatbed tractor-trailer was reportedly traveling northbound on Route 301 and the two vehicles collided. Police said Rich was pronounced dead at Bowie Health Center.
