The Gaylord National Resort’s smash hit holiday attraction—ICE!—returns this year featuring DreamWorks’ Shrek the Halls. The annual attraction will run through Jan. 6.

Chinese artisans have hand-carved a unique, interactive indoor wonderful created entirely of ice. The 15,000 sq. ft. attraction will thrill visitors as they walk through a frozen world of life-size, colorful ice sculptures made from 2 million pounds of ice, all kept at a frigid 9 degrees.

Visitors will enter Shrek’s swampy world and walk through larger-than-life scenes that re-create the storyline of the 2007 “Shrek the Halls” animated TV special. The story follows Shrek as he tries to plan the “perfect Christmas” for Fiona and the kids, only to have plans disrupted by chaos and commotion. But, in the end, Shrek learns the true meaning of the holiday.
