Did you know that God has given you everything you need to be an Overcomer? Yep, no matter what you need God has given you all of the tools to proceed. Going through a drought where your resources are dried up? No worries, God will send you the latter rain. Look at what He tells us to do in Zechariah 10:1, "Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain.[a] The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone." Showers of rain, really Lord? Yep, that means He will give you abundance. I am not trying to oversimplify your situation, but I know from experience that God is always “right on time”. For every excuse Moses had, God gave him a tool. Moses said, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." - Exodus 4: 10. Every time I read that passage, I just want to shake my head (SMH). Why, because God just told Moses, "I AM WHO I AM... - Exodus 3:12. God had already given Moses many tools to be an Overcomer, yet he was still in doubt. So God being who He is gave Moses yet another tool, “… I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” – Exodus 4:12. But Moses wasn't satisfied with God's response. So God used Aaron to be the spokesperson (reference Exodus 4:13-16).
Be honest, has God given you the tools you need to be an Overcomer and yet you continue to ask Him for more? Has God sent you rain only for you to put up a shield to block the flow of blessings because it didn't come as you wanted? Some people get in stuck mode because it is easier for them to be complacent than to be an Overcomer. When we trust our own abilities more than we trust God, we cannot be all that He has designed us to be. So decide to be an Overcomer and watch God really shine in your life. When people look at you strangely because you no longer dwell in negativity they will probably want to say that you are over confident. Nope. You are just an Overcomer!
