Wisdom Wednesday: "Do Not Worry"

So often we get caught up on the backside of "when".  Do not worry. Hmm... how can someone say that when everything all around you seems chaotic?  Do not worry.  How can you say that when you have more bills than money in the bank?  Do not worry.  How can you say that when, when, when...

I know what it feels like to be in debt and wonder when the debt collectors will stop calling. I know what it feels like to be in a state of mind that you just can't comprehend that "the best is yet to come".  I have been in a confused state when someone said, "Don't worry, things will work out". What!

So, how did I come so far that I really Do Not Worry?  I began to trust more in God and His Word than my circumstances.  Trust me when I tell you, I am not where I thought I would be financially at this point in my life, but I am fine with the path that God has me on.  He has already shown me prosperity in my relationship with Him that will spill over into every aspect of my life.  He affirms His Word in Matthew 6: 25-27, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"  Need I say more? Hang in there, God is already here with out-stretched comforting arms.  Ahh, thank you Jesus.
