Last Chance: Bowie Beautification Awards Nominations
This week's local deadline you won't want to miss.
Does your neighbor have daylilies that are the envy of the block, or a koi pond that fish would fight over? Maybe your dentist has inspiring shrubbery or your church gardens are places that truly inspire peace. Now is your chance to thank them for making your community a more beautiful place to live and work, by nominating them for a Bowie Beautification Award.
Any resident or local business is eligible for nomination for the , and Friday, June 22, is your last chance to nominate those with worthy foliage.
Contest rules and nominations forms can be found here. Winners will be chosen in July and presented with their awards at a ceremony in August.
